Maidan Minnesota is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit organization that was established in 2014 by a group of volunteers from Ukrainian American Community of Minnesota. It was organized when a pro-Russian government of Ukraine at that time refused to officially recognize the Ukrainian people’s majority votes to join the European Union. As a result, there were massive protests in the country which were brutally attacked by the government with lots of people been killed and wounded. Shortly after Russia annexed the Ukrainian Island of Crimea.

The most important goal of our organization is a fast response to the immediate needs of the people of Ukraine.

Maidan MN is actively working directly with people in Ukraine. Our main focus is on providing help for refugees both in Ukraine and the neighboring countries. We also acquire urgently needed medical supplies and provide logistics to ship the items to the recipients.
