Maidan Minnesota and the War Casualty Fund join the “Fiddler On The Roof” performances at Wayzata Community Church as charity recipients.
Fiddler On The Roof, one of Broadway’s most beloved musicals, is coming to Wayzata Community Church on March 17 through March 20 supporting the cause for Ukrainian people!
Good Works Community Theater will bring to life the Ukrainian village of Anatevka, where Tevye the dairyman is trying to balance his life, like a fiddler on a roof, in attempt to hold onto his traditions despite sweeping social change. The musical is directed by Autumn Toussaint, and features the amazingly talented Rick Treece as Tevye. In a wonderful partnership, Wayzata’s own CREO Arts & Dance Conservatory will appear alongside Good Works Community Theater’s Cast to bring the iconic bottle and wedding dances to life. Pre-show entertainment may be shown at weekend performances.
This year, Good Works Community Theater has chosen Maidan Minnesota and the War Casualty Fund as charitable partners to receive the attention of grateful patrons. Two organizations help the most effected by the war in Ukraine (medical supplies, humanitarian aid, etc.)
Fiddler On The Roof will be performed at Wayzata Community Church on Thursday March 17 at 7:00pm, Friday March 18 at 7:00pm, twice Saturday, March 19 at 2:00pm (this performance is child and special needs friendly, as well as a sing along), and 7:00pm, and Sunday March 20 at 2:00pm.
Tickets are not required, and doors will open 30 minutes prior to curtain time.
